Ok back to the Munchies part of this Blog!! Yeah its a pain to stop Gaming to go cooking. And why spend your money on Rip off Pizza and Takeaways when you can do quick easy snacks or meals. And most of the Recipe's I'm  going to put in my Blogs can be pre-made. So next time you keep saying to yourself "One more Map and I'll go grab some food" fiddlesticks to that i say!! Get the food whilst the next map is loading. You really didn't really want to be the first on the server anyway to get the MG. Did you? No of course you didn't.

Here we go then!

Caws-Wedi-Pobi (Welsh Rarebit)

Description/Notes:

Probably the most well-known of all Welsh snacks although if you were to look it up in Fowler's English usage you would see that it claims that the dish is not of Welsh origin, there is no rabbit in it and the toast is not rare. Full marks to Fowler's for splitting hairs, or is it hares?....

Ingredients:
half a pound of cheese, grated (i use a good strong cheddar)
1 tsp. dry mustard (if you use pre-mixed mustard reduce the milk by 1tbsp)
4 tbsp. milk
4 slices of fairly thickly sliced bread (as thick as possible or use something like ciabbta)
1 tsp. butter (gotta be salted)
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp. flour
2 tbsp beer (optional) DON'T USE LAGER..
Nice salad to serve(optional)

Cooking Instructions:
After toasting the bread (don't over toast) heat the grated cheese gently in a saucepan until it melts
Stir in the other ingredients
A little beer can be added to the sauce if desired
Pour the cheese sauce over the toast and place under a grill until a golden brown.

Don't put the pan in the sink to soak... Leave it to cool down and go back to it later for the crusty bits.

Prepare the cheesy mix before you start your Gaming. Job done!!
